Sven Guenther, Ph.D.

As executive vice president of research and development, Dr. Guenther leads Zevra’s research team and plays a central role in the advancement of the company’s pipeline and the development of new products.

Prior to joining Zevra, Dr. Guenther served as a research scientist for New River Pharmaceuticals, where he was part of the development team for Vyvanse^®. He is an inventor on numerous patents and patent applications, and an author on many research papers.

Dr. Guenther received his doctorate from the University of Iowa.
